8th Annual La Femme International Film Festival Announces Opening

The 8th Annual La Femme International Film Festival 2012
founder Leslie LaPage is excited to announce the Opening night of the
festival which will take place on Thursday October 11, 2012 with the
premiere of “Terrible Angels” starring Michael Madsen. After party sponsored by Hair & Makeup Artist Network with “Terrible Angels” will immediately follow the movie at Renberg Courtyard 1125 N. McCadden Place Hollywood, CA 90038.
This years (4) day fest will highlight our Saturday Night Musical Fundraiser “LA Femme Crooners” on Oct 13th , 7pm; featuring performances by Charlie Rae, the YouTube singing sensation, The Do-Its, a hip 50’s style rock ‘n’ roll band, and Jhai Norris, an up and coming artist getting lots of attention for her mixtape ‘P.S.A.’.
The Awards Ceremony Show will take place Sunday October 14, 2012 at 7pm; Honoring Katherine Fugate, Mackenzie Phillips, Francia Raisa, and Wendy McLendon-Covey with performances by The Show Off Dolls, who are a versatile burlesque fusion dance company based out of Hollywood, CA and Jhai Norris crooning.
La Femme Film Festival founder Leslie LaPage stated, “We have a great
line up of very talented musical artists and celebrity film screenings
so this year is especially exciting”.
The four (4) day festival will showcase over 100 independent
features, shorts, documentaries, commercials, and music videos honoring
some of the most talented women in the entertainment industry. Some of
the films will include numerous “A” list celebrities such as Daryl Hannah, Susan Sarandon, Olympia Dukakis, Morgan Fairchild, Billy Zane, and Andie MacDowell.

Passes are at $150 for Regular Price and Discounted VIP Passes are
available for WGA & SAG Members at $59; tickets for individual films
are $10; and single seminars are $20, Musical event $50, Opening Night
Party is $35.
