Hollywood, CA, April 17, 2009 – The 9th annual FirstGlance Film Fest Hollywood runs from Friday, May 1st to Sunday, May 3rd at Raleigh Studios Chaplin Theater, 5300 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA. Don’t miss special appearances by Dean McDermott and Dwain Murphy from the feature film Saving God starring Ving Rhames, High School Musical’s Lucas Grabeel in the music video Get Your Ass On, and Lea Thompson from the feature film Balancing the Books also starring Dina Meyer, Vincent Spano, Lela Rochon, Ed Begley, Jr., Ernie Hudson, and Tess Harper. FirstGlance screens buzzed about indie films starring some of your favorite actors like Twilight’s Robert Pattinson in the feature How To Be, Brad Renfro in the short Collector, the Ring 2’s Kelly Overton in Outsource, Ian Ziering in Step Seven, and Francis Ford Coppola, James Rosenquist, and Martha Stewart in the mini-doc Push Button House. Plus, with a new online shorts contest, FirstGlance brings more of the best indie shorts to audiences right at home as well.
